MEN IN MENTAL HEALTH

BRINGING MEN TO MENTAL HEALTH

The average person will spend a third of their life at work.

Meaning we’re not really working from home but rather living at work — and it’s affecting our mental health.

Societal expectations have left men particularly worried about speaking about mental health at work, often fearing they will be viewed negatively by peers or even lose their job because of it.

With three in ten employed men reporting always or frequently feeling stressed because of work, it is high time we take a closer look at how we can do better. Prioritizing mental health in the workplace means prioritizing empathy, productivity, and work relationships.

So how can companies proactively reduce stress and support employees' mental health?

Join our next What’s In It For Me? webinar installment to learn the importance of prioritizing mental health in the workplace and the practical steps every company should take to make long-lasting change.

At our MEN in Mental Health webinar on November 26th from 1– 2:15PM MT to explore the relationship between gender, mental health, and workplace culture. Learn from expert panellists like Centre for Suicide Prevention’s Director, Akash Asif, Movember’s Senior Manager of Development, Shane DeMerchant, and Headversity’s Content Senior Manager, Tahira Jamani!

Attendees are part of the conversation – the panel discussion will be followed by Q&A sessions where attendees have the chance to ask questions on what inclusive talent pipelines can do for you.
